Heart Transplant - It is a life-saving procedure performed on patients with a damaged or failing heart, to replace the same with a healthy heart taken from a deceased donor. It is usually the last resort of treatment when patients stop responding to other modalities.
CABG - It stands for coronary artery bypass graft, a complex intervention performed on patients with severe coronary blockage. The procedure helps to divert the flow of blood by creating a new route that bypasses the blocked section of the artery.
